About the Position

We are seeking experienced and successful Document Control Specialists to support large, complex infrastructure engineering transportation projects.

These are full-time, on-site positions located in the greater New York metropolitan area. If you are an experienced Document Control Specialist but do not live in the New York Metro area, please reach out! We may soon have other opportunities in various locations around the country.

Responsibilities

  • Produces and maintains reports using a PMIS platform.
  • Provides document and/or records management to include receiving, processing, distributing, retrieving and maintaining documents and/or records in accordance with established policies, and procedures.
  • Assembles information to support project activities and assists in resolving issues and questions.
  • Monitors and reviews data entry for accuracy by performing quality checks.
  • Processes numerous documents, maintaining data integrity through a variety of procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintains proper document configuration management in support of engineering and construction.
  • Performs a variety of records management clerical duties of either a general or specialized nature.
  • Oversees document control process improvement.
  • Develops new procedures based on guidance from Program Management stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Document Control Specialist on large, complex, public works infrastructure engineering programs.
  • Familiarity with applicable governmental rules and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and document control software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field.

Compensation Details

The salary range listed for these roles is $50-60/hr. It is not common for starting salaries to come in at the very top of the range; they usually fall somewhere in the middle. The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
